Experience the magic of the Tsitsikamma "place of many waters".

Blackwater Tubing on the Stormsriver is the ultimate kloofing experience. The trip is both scenic and exhilarating!

You start off climbing down a "rope ladder" into the almost inaccessible canyon and finish at the suspension bridge across the river in the Tsitsikamma National Park.
Depending on the level of the water, you can try your luck at riding a rapid or two, or jump into the "unknown" black water. (All under the supervision of your guide).

Drifting along the calm pools gives one a chance to relax after clambering over rocky outcrops.

The scenery is always spectacular, with cliffs almost meeting above your head to block out the indigenous forest.
Frequent sightings of the Giant Kingfisher, Knysna Loerie and the Fish Eagle are made.

Our starting time at our offices is 08h30, and we return there at approximately 14h00. We spend about two and a half hours on the water, depending on the ability of the group. Participants under 21 need signed parental consent and bookings must be made in advance.

N.B. Participants need to bring swimming costumes and suitable shoes for wearing on the river - we recommend "strops' or trainers. One needs to bear in mind that the shoes will get wet. The shoes should have a good grip for walking on rocks.
