Set in magnificent gardens in one of Cape Town's prestigious suburbs,
Highlands is a beautifully restored National Monument. Built in 1900
by Sir Herbert Baker, Highlands is considered to be amongst the most
important Cape homes of the era. |

Here, a warm welcome awaits, where caring staff
will attend to you're every need and, with only 14 spacious bedrooms,
privacy and personal hospitality are assured.
Elegantly furnished, from every room long sash windows overlook the
terraced Italian gardens and water features, two sparkling pools or
the putting green.
Relax and enjoy sumptuous breakfasts, with lunch and dinner
prepared by our Cordon Bleu chef by prior arrangement. Many hours of
pleasure can be attained in the lounge, library, the intimate private
bar, Colonial sitting room, romantic dining conservatory or the large
elegant billiard room. The winter months are warm and cosy with five
of these facilities having a log fire.
Being close to corporate head offices we are eager to discuss rates
suitable to the budgets of regular travellers to the city and their
conferencing requirements.
We are always happy to make arrangements for your collection from
the airport; tours or car hire and can assure competitive rates.
Located in Kenilworth, Highlands is close to golf courses, Newlands
rugby and cricket grounds, Rhodes Memorial, also built by Sir Herbert
Baker, Constantia wine estates and the acclaimed Kirstenbosch
Botanical Gardens. Beaches on the Atlantic seaboard and the Indian
Ocean, the airport, Waterfront and Cape Town city centre are 20
minutes away. |

Five rooms are available. Four rooms with queen
size bed and one with twin/king size bed. Only one of these rooms does
not have a balcony but is the largest of the five.
Often asked how we differentiate between our types of rooms, the
answer is that they may vary in size or view.
All of our rooms are individually decorated, all using well selected
pieces of furniture, fine linens and beautiful fabrics.
Each day all rooms are supplied with fresh flowers and fruit.. |
