Located along the world renowned sunset strip of Camps Bay beachfront,
Paranga stands out amongst the plethora of venues for its strict
adherence to the four Paranga G’s:
Good food, Good wine, Good service and Great value. |
From the careful selection of the finest wine glasses, to the
purposeful selection of dishiest waitrons, everything shows remarkable
attention to detail. Every item on the menu is accompanied by a smile
from the staff - a smile put there by genuine heart felt friendliness
and not plastic surgery. Paranga manages to combine maturity of fine
food effortlessly with the unashamed exuberance of youthful in your
face attitude. Simply put, it’s got both culinary grace and gusto.
Paranga’s multilevel layout offers unrivalled views of the ocean and
the thoughtful design allows patrons kick off their sandals and sip
cocktails on the sun splashed terrace or don their finest and romance
the night away in the elegant and intimate back booths. The natural,
sandy colours of the interior contrast spectacularly with the bright
hues of hand blown vases and candle holders, but ultimately it is the
personalities and character of the cosmopolitan crowd that add the
real colour. |
Food at Paranga is taken very seriously. Just like the accomplished
waitrons that serve the food, the cuisine combines bold flavours and
stunning presentation. The bar is highly popular for after-work drinks
where the setting sun bears witness to the ebb and flow of the Cape
social scene. Paranga buzzes with pure energy, an unmistakable vibe
created by the people but also by the music. With 2 signature CD’s
already released, Paranga’s 3rd album will be released for summer 2006
offering listeners the hottest lounge and bar music of the season.
